Supporting Excellence in the Polish-American Community

KD Market proudly announces the 2026 KD Market Scholarship Program, established to recognize and support outstanding students of Polish heritage who demonstrate excellence, dedication, and leadership.

This scholarship celebrates young individuals who strive for achievement in academics, athletics, the arts, community involvement, or other areas of distinction, while maintaining a strong connection to their Polish heritage.

 

Scholarship Awards

KD Market will award:

● One (1) $3,000 Scholarship
● Two (2) $2,000 Scholarships
● Three (3) $1,000 Scholarships

Recipients will be selected by the KD Market Scholarship Committee based on merit and the overall strength of their application.

Scholarships will be presented in person at the POLONIADA Family Picnic on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Additional event details will be announced on our website and social media platforms.

Recipients are expected to attend the award ceremony. In the event of exceptional circumstances, prior arrangements must be made with the Scholarship Committee.

 

 

NOTE: Winners must be present to claim the Award!

Eligibility and Selection Criteria for Consideration:
1. Applicant must be of Polish Descent
2. Applicant must be minimum 13 years old, and not older than a High School Senior
3. Applicant must be able to prove his/hers accomplishments in Academics/Athletics/Sports/Arts

Individuals desiring to apply for the award must complete the section below and provide requested information listed on Page 3. Completed responses must be returned to KD Market corporate office located at 1046 S. Elmhurst Rd. Mount Prospect, IL 60056, or emailed to scholarship@mykdmarket.com, no later than Sunday, May 3rd, 2026. (For the mailed in forms, only post-stamped before the deadline will be considered). Winners will be notified by e-mail at least two (2) weeks before the event.
